How many visits should I schedule daily for cat care?
1-2 visits daily, depending on your unique needs and situation.
What are your rates?
Rates are typically between $15 - $30 a visit depending on travel distance, number of cats, what’s required, if medication is required, etc.
How far in advance should the initial “meet and greet” with new clients and kitties be scheduled?
I recommend scheduling asap so we have an established relationship for when your travel needs arise.
What can I expect during the cat sitter’s daily visits?
Bowls are cleaned, fresh water and food given, and litter boxes are scooped. Brushing, playtime, and lots of TLC. Mail is collected and packages are brought inside. Garbage will be taken out. Watering household plants if requested. I am happy to discuss other needs you may have.
What time of day will the cat sitter visit my kitties?
In the morning, between 7:00 – 10:30 am, and in the afternoon, between 3:00 – 6:00 pm.
Where do you offer your services?
I serve Crozet, Ivy, Afton, Greenwood, Whitehall, North Garden, and parts of Charlottesville.
What is your cancelation policy?
There is no penalty for canceling cat care service, but as much notice as possible is appreciated.
Can I expect to hear from you while we are away?
I am happy to provide updates and photos.
What are your accepted forms of payment?
Check or cash, due at time of service.
What happens if the owner has a delayed flight or other change in plans while away?
Have no worries! Contact me to discuss. I can cover extra visits if needed.
Am I required to tip my cat sitter?
A tip is not required but is greatly appreciated.
How is an emergency handled?
I will contact you right away and we will discuss appropriate actions to make a plan.
